Certification in high altitude physiology IAW 14 CFR Part 61.31(g) items ii-ix, and IS-BAO international standards paragraph 5.4, High Altitude Training

Responsibilities

• Acquaint participants (eligible aviation personnel) with all safety issues relative to hypoxia events, maintaining mental and physical health during varying altitudes, and confidence with equipment

• Conduct in-chamber sessions and oversee participant tasks and health by providing high-quality medical care where needed and confident operational instruction

Equipment

• Eight student positions with headsets and airline-style quick-don oxygen masks

• Frasca Mentor Advanced Aviation Training Device simulating a Cessna 172 with G-1000 avionics
